WikiSuite is a selection of Free / Libre / Open Source Software (FLOSS) server, web, mobile and desktop apps with a concerted effort for greater interoperability and security, which is aimed at small & medium-sized organizations. The open source project offers most (over 80 percent) of the data and information management features that all organizations need.

As a not-for-profit organization dedicated to the promotion of WikiSuite’s portfolio of tools and the proliferation of use of open source software applications, there was a deeply felt need not to turn WikiSuite into a ‘corporate’ as the result of its marketing approach.

Newton Day were appointed in June 2019 to support the management team in the development of it’s brand activation, marketing strategy and tactical go-to-market agenda.

We set about working with the management team throuwgh workshops to produce a storybook of WikiSuite that simplified the exercise of gaining consensus on the values, ethical approach, tone of voice, and operational behaviors the organization wanted to adopt moving forward.  Through this exercise we were able to draft strategic priorities and an action plan.

“Newton Day have helped us to see how we can reach out and connect with our global community in a way that honors our persona and ethical approach.” Marc Laporte, President

In 2020 Newton Day will be program managing a series of active campaigns for WikiSuite that will target three distinct communities:

Enthusiasts interesting in learning how they can apply the WikiSuite technology to their projects or learn a new skill

Enterprise information management decision makers responsible for promoting wider use of Open Source software

Enterprise departmental leaders responsible for making decisions on how to automate their departmental processes, and specifically move away from spreadsheets, SaaS applications and proprietary software.
