Conveying complex technical concepts

Encanvas is a High Productivity application Platform-as-a-Service (HPaPaaS) software company.  The company wanted to make its knowledge more accessible.  In order to describe its enterprise platform in simpler ways, and recognizing that its customers increasingly want to WATCH rather than READ, the marketing team at Encanvas decided it would be better to produce a series of computer-based training (CBT) courses.

What did we do?

We worked with Andrew Lawrie, the Chief Technology Officer, and his team to put together a course structure that woud cover all of the important detail that customers would ask for as part of a customer engagement.  There was a concern that customers wouldn’t want to read the technical detail needed to understand and fully leverage such an advanced platform.  Andrew also found he was in high demand from customers to explain this information face-to-face which was a major time burden.  For this reason, it was decided that the best approach would be to ‘bring Andrew to his audience’ by producing a series of friendly and informative videos on Encanvas and its platform architecture of which this is one…
