How we managed the launch of not-for-profit trust 
SOCIAL JOY to create a new kind of social giving… 

SOCIAL JOY is a not-for-profit organization committed to helping people benefit from the advice and guidance of others through an advocacy-led online service run by the trustees.

Presently, the organization is focusing on three key areas where advocacy has a key role to play in helping people supercharge their careers:

  • Helping mums get back to work after a career break
  • Helping women get into IT and technical/scientific jobs
  • Helping individuals learn about freelancing

    Newton Day was appointed by Social Joy to manage the brand activation.  This involved working with the stakeholders to understand the essence of the brand value, its purpose, audiences and aspirations.  From this we created a series of brand designs until the go-forward option was chosen. Then, we developed a conversational path for each of the three focus areas and worked with the in-house team to put together a social marketing program and website.
